The albino was the first ball python morph produced, back in 1992 by the famous Bob Clark. It remains in demand and it's price has remained steady through the past several years, making it a staple of the industry as well as a key ingredient to several other projects, mainly the snow ball python.

As the case with most of the morphs, we don't have the funds to go gung-ho and buy a ton of true albinos, but we didn't manage to scrape enough money together to buy a breeder male albino and a true het albino female. We're hoping to produce some albinos in '05.

ALBP-M-1
Her he is, one of our other pride and joys, our breeder male albino. He was originally from NERD and we bought him from the original buyer. He's an '02 and more than breedable. We'll be breeding him to both girls below as well as two normal females and producing some hets.

HABP-M-1
This is our 100% het albino male purchased from Evan Stahl and originally Ralph Davis. He proved out this year with a 50% possible het albino but we had 7 offspring, all normal in appearance, no visible albinos so it looks like that girl proved to be normal. This guy's going to take the second seat this year now that we have our true albino.

HALBP-F-1
This is a 66% het girl that we hope will go this year. She was just under the breeding mark last year but has since skyrocketed to over 1900g so she has more than enough weight to breed. Her and the albino have locked up so hopefully we'll see some offspring in '05.

HALBP-F-2
This is a 100% het girl that we hope will go this year. She's right at the borderline of being breeder size but we have to try her. If her and the albino breed, the offspring will be 1/2 albino and 1/2 100% het albino, this is the project with the biggest potential for us in '05. Her and the albino male have bred 3-4 different times. If she has a clutch and she's what she's supposed to be, we will be HAPPY people :)
