As anyone in the ball python industry knows, female ball pythons have become a hard (and expensive) find. 4 years ago, an adult female may pull $50-$75. In today's market with dominant and co-dominant genes, normal females are essential and are therefore demanding up to $500 for a proven adult female. We have quite a collection of normal females, most between 1600-3600g, but a few we're raising up to be breeders.

BP-F-19
This is 'Fridge'. If you look closely, you can see some scars on her back. She got out for her previous owner and got stuck behind the refigerator, where she burned her back on some coils...so her nickname. The scarring has all healed and she's a great animal. She proved out for us in '04 producing 11 eggs!!! 9 of those were fertile full-sized eggs, 1 was a full-slized infertile egg, and one was a pint-sized slug.

BP-F-20
We got this girl the same time we got BP-F-19. She was a longshot, she looked slightly underfed with possible parasites. As with all of our animals, we had a fecal done on her and she came back clean, just underfed. She's now a 3800g monster that had 10 eggs in '05!

BP-F-21
This girl was another risky one. She sat in quarantine for a while until we could get her cleaned up (she tested positive for parasites) but we got that cleaned up and she's eating 3 F/T rats a week. She's up to almost 2800g so she's also a sure bet for '05.

BP-F-36
This is one of my favorites. As you can see in this picture, she was pretty skinny when I got her, probably a 5 year old female around 1200g, just hadn't been fed well. She's now a 2900g hog. I definitely need an updated picture, this one looks NASTY. Looking forward to breeding her next year.

BP-F-39
This is a pretty good girl. She gave us a clutch of het ghost this year so she's already proven AND back up to weight. She'll go again next year for sure.

BP-F-40
This girl developed 7 large follicles in 2005 then re-absorbed them. Hoping to have better luck next year, she's about 2400g.

BP-F-42
This girl was just shy of breeding in '05. She's now up to past 2200g and should be a good breeder in '06...just keep your hands away from her cage, she's bound to take them off (i.e. she's a $#%*!).

BP-F-43
This is just a normal girl that Ian G. gave me when I bought my spider. I love her pattern and hope to have her up to weight in '07.

BP-F-45
This is a girl we picked up from Midwest Reptile. She's just an absolutely stunning female. Unfortunately she must know it...I don't have many snakes meaner than her :)

BP-F-46
This is Hillary, a girl a friend of ours had bought for himself then realized how much time and money it took to feed these monsters :) She's an awesome snake, a chowhound on F/T rats. She's the 2nd largest girl I have and I can't wait to breed her in '06.

BP-F-47
This is Stephanie. This is my late friend Steve's favorite snake. Since I can't very well call her Steve, I figured Stephanie was close. Other than being a live/PK eater, she's as awesome as they come. Check out her little random cream scales. She has about 8 of them total (and they're not scarred scales). She should be a good breeder in '06.

BP-F-48
This is a female we got from our buddy Matt. He has very little access to live rodents where he lives and she prefers live and PK, so we got her from him and she's growing like a week. Possibly an '07 breeder.
