You've found them, Jason's Jungle rack systems. It took about a year of tinkering around with different materials and bonding methods, but in mid '03, we released our product line and have made very few changes since. We are closing in closely on our 400th rack and truly believe we have the absolute best rack system on the market and our customers agree.

Each one of our rack systems is made of high-impact, durable, PVC foam board. We accept nothing less than quality which is why we choose 1/2" PVC for all over our racks versus 1/4" which you will find used on many other racks. Each rack uses true FlexWatt heating products including the heat tape, clip sets, and insulators. We weld AND screw every shelf for added support (the only manufacturer to do so). After the unit is assembled, we router all the front edges and top off the screws with screw caps. We use Sterilite plastic products for their ease of cleanliness, durability, and availability. TUBS ARE INCLUDED!!! Each unit comes ready to plug in with a 12-foot power cord.

Our 'special ingredient' is that we raise every rack 2" off the ground. This 2" serves multiple purposes. First, it gives us a space to do our wiring, keeping it nice and neat and out of the way. Second, it raises that last shelf off the ground. Anybody who owns an everyday rack system will tell you that their bottom shelf is about 8 degrees colder than any other spot on their unit. In addition to bringing the rack off of the ground, we have wrapped 3" of heat tape around the bottom shelf to prevent this from happening. There is less than a 2 degree difference from the bottom of one of our units to the top of one of our units and each will easily get up to 88 degrees without any other insulation. By setting the unit against an inside wall, you can get to 90 degrees with ease. By using a thin piece of insulation, we have seen our racks get up to 96 degrees. In addition to just raising the unit, we have added a bottom plate which keeps the heat tape away from the carpet while keeping heat under the bottom shelf. Every detail has been covered.

SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE!!!! It took a while to find a good vendor for the boxes and packing, but we have been using FedEx Ground for over a year and they are doing a phenomenal job. Shipping is around $100 for all the racks. Thanks to FedEx's new 'dimensional weighting' policy, our prices jumped up twofold in '07. I can also ship multiple racks (and the larger racks) via Delta Freight for cheaper than I can FedEx. The more Please drop us an e-mail for an exact quote. Local pickup and delivery to any of the shows we attend is always free. See our main page to see our upcoming show schedule.

Wanted to note that the tubs are all the same here. My incredibly amateur photography makes them out to be totally different tubs but they are the same. They're definitely not as clear as polycarbonate as the pictures with the tan background seem to show.

5-Slot Adult Rack
$275

This is an amazing all-purpose rack that holds anything from adult sand boas, to colubrids, to ball pythons. The rack itself is 17" W x 24" D x 36" H. The unit holds 5 Sterilite boxes that are 32-quart units and measure 16.5" W x 23.5" D x 6" H. It is heated with a single 11" piece of FlexWatt heat tape. We use a variation of this same rack (just taller) for our adult Kenyans, Rosy Boas, and Ball Pythons (see 10-slot adult rack below).

5-slot Sideways Rack
$300

This is a versatile unit. It measures 24" W x 17" D x 36" H. It holds either (5) of the 32-quart Sterilite boxes lengthwise, or it can hold (10) Sterilite 15-quart boxes (or as the picture shows, a combination of both). The 15-quart boxes are 11" W x 17" D x 6" H. The unit is heated with two strips of 11" FlexWatt heat tape.

18-slot Hatchling Unit
$325

The 18-slot hatchling rack replaced the 12-slot rack we made for several years. The unit is 23 1/2" W x 15" D x 36" H. It holds (18) Sterilite 6-quart boxes. The 6-quart boxes are 8" W x 14" D x 4.5" H. This unit is heated with two pieces of 11" FlexWatt heat tape.

3-slot Breeder Unit
$275

We had a lot of demand for something larger than our standard 32-quart tub, so we found the Sterilite 48-quart boxes and designed a rack around them. Unfortunately Sterilite discontinued the box shortly after so we revamped our design to use their 41-quart box instead. The 41-quart tub is one of the biggest rip-offs IMHO so we have opted to use the ARS70 tubs made by ARS. Same dimensions as the Iris CB70 but with straight sides and a lot better plastic...the best part...the tubs have a water bowl holder BUILT-IN! The unit is 18" W x 36" D x 23" H. It holds (3) ARS70 tubs that are included. The tubs are 17" W x 35 " D x 5 1/2 " H. This unit is heated with a single piece of 11" FlexWatt heat tape, although we use the 40 watt/foot heat tape for this rack versus the 20 watt/foot you find on our other racks.

Got big balls??? Take your pick. 5-slot breeder rack or 3-slot breeder rack

The following are racks that cannot be shipped via traditional FedEx and need to either be picked up at a reptile show or shipped via Delta Dash.

10-slot Adult Rack
$525

This is my personal choice for housing adults. We have 7 of these in our breeding room. It's a 10-slot version of our 5-slot adult rack. The rack measures 17" W x 24" D x 72" H. The unit holds (10) Sterilite 32-quart boxes that are 16.5" W x 23.5" D x 6" H. It is heated with a single 11" piece of FlexWatt heat tape.

28-slot Hatchling Rack
$375

This is another one of our personal favorites and one that our customers love. I use several of these in my own snake room. This replaced the 48-slot rack that we sold for years. The 48-slot was just too bulky and the shelves were just too wide at 34" so we came up with a redesign with some help from our friend/customer Will Bird. For some reason I don't have a picture of it by itself but I do have it setup at a show. The racks in question are the ones flanking the 10-slot adult rack in the middle of the setup. It's a 6' tower just like our other 'tower' racks. It's an absolute feeding machines for those young baby ball pythons or boas. We keep all of our baby balls in these and have people waiting for them to be made at almost any point in time. The rack is 17" W x 15" D x 72" tall and it holds (28) of the 6-quart Sterilite tubs that are each 8" W x 14" D x 4.5" H. This unit is run on a single strip of 11" FlexWatt heat tape.

5-slot Breeder Unit
$475

We were challenged to make a rack for the largest of ball python females as well as one that would hold adult bulls, pines, and rainbow boas. We originally used the 48-quart Sterilite tubs on this one as well before we found the ARS70 tubs. These are the tubs with the built-in water bowl holder as seen here. This rack is AWESOME! I have an 11-slot version in my own breeding room that I house my largest ball python females in. Out of the 9 girls I had in there that bred this year, I pulled clutches from 7 of them. The rack itself is 18 " W, 36" D, and 36" H. The tubs are 17 " W x 35" D x 5 1/2 " H. Don't ask me to load this up in a Neon or a Kia, it's not going to fit. Better bring the truck if you're going to pick this one up.

We can also do custom orders! You tell us the tub you'd like to use and we'll design a rack around it. Please send us an e-mail if you're interested.
