The rough scale is probably the 2nd most popular sand boa after the Kenyan. Their colors are amazing. My breeding stock are very tame and gentle.
Rough scales have small litters, typically 4-10 babies in each. You really have to love these snakes to breed them. Breeders are fairly expensive, they have few offspring, and the offspring aren't very expensive :) Since these are pretty rare, they don't make for an easy sell, we actually cut our stock back from 4 females and 2 males a few years ago.

RS-F-4
This is one of our huge females. These were a last-minute purchase before the '04 breeding season that we picked up from Scott Miller. Her and RS-F-4 are just ENORMOUS! Both are over 600g! She has produced a very nice litter for us in '04. Check the available page to see if any are left over.

RS-F-7
This is a girl we got in from one of our customers. Wouldn't eat for him for over 6 months, etc. We got it and it ate that night, no joke. Been a looker ever since (so much that she's on our big 5x7 business card flyer). Looking to produce some nice babies from her in '07. She's already surpassed my original girl in weight/size.

RS-M-1
This is our lone roughscale male. He proved out 2 years ago with the above female. Hopefully he has the gusto, I have another female that will be ready for him next year.
