Rosy boas
are relatively new to me. One of my good friends in college had one and it
was very cool, but I wasn't big into snakes until a few years afterward. When
I looked to expand my breeding, this is where I turned to. I've got my first
in '01 and have grown the collection quite a bit since then. The clean stripe
of the San Felipe is very pretty and kind of drew me into them.
Rosy boas are very
managable snakes. They appear intimidating from their long and sleak structure,
but they are very timid. They have small litters of babies, typically between
4-8. We expect around 15 offspring in '04.

This is my first rosy boa. I picked
her up on a whim, gave it a few months to see if I liked them and now I can't
stop! Although she hasn't had babies for me yet, I do use her quite a bit
at shows and presentations. She has a great attitude. I will be trying again
this year to breed her to WWRB-M-1.

WWRB-F-2
This girl (as well as the other 2 proceeding her) came from a breeder over
in Ohio that was getting called back to active duty in the military so he
sold me the entire lot. She was proven from him in '02 and bred for me in
'03, producing the gorgeous litter
you can see here. She produced again this year with a healthy litter
of 6 that you can see here. Check the Available
page to see if there are any left.

This girl was a bit too small last year before breeding season so we decided
to wait an extra year to be safe. The wait paid off and she produced 6 gorgeous
babies in '04, using almost 1/2 of her body weight to do so. Here's
a picture of her litter. She's got some fattening up to do before November's
brumation. Check the Available page to see if
there are any left.

I'm pretty excited about this guy. I've been wanting one for a long time.
He came from Terry Heuring via Snakebstr's. I'm really thinking he'll be ready
to go in '06 and I'll have some hets.

This is our lone Whitewater male who gets the fun of breeding the 3 females
above :) I apologize about the picture, getting him to stay still and pose
for a picture is next to impossible.
